Pee on the pushchair

So my cats have decided for no apparent reason to use my baby's brand new pushchair as their litter box last night. I've had the king 4 days and it's covered in cat piss. I have spent the morning in tears. The seat isn't removable for washing.

So now for cleaning it, my DH has scrubbed it with boiling water and we've sprinkled a tonne of bicarb of soda on and are leaving it to soak before hoovering it and cleaning again. Any more tips on what I can do or use to try and get it clean and smell free?

A cleaner with enzymes in from a pet shop will help break down the odour molecules

How about a pet cleaning spray, we got one which was safe to use, sorry but can't remember the same. Ecover washing up liquid. I thought cats hated citrus so maybe something with orange or lemon. Naughty cats, were they claiming it for themselves! Trouble is sometimes they go back and piddle on clean things againBlush

Thanks I'll go to town now and get a pet spray with enzymes in. Was just wondering if anyone had like a magic tip that I might not have heard of or anything! I thought I'd read once that biological washing powder worked well... bloody cats I could happily strangle them at the minute

Bio powder could work as it contains enzymes too

Blocking access to the pushchair by putting something in it may help: it's the only thing that stops my girl peeing on the sofa.
