Hello - first time posting here but have lurked for a while. We adopted two fluffy boy kittens from the RSPCA earlier this year, they are now 10 months old and have got us thoroughly well trained - we can't imagine life without them! Reason I'm posting is that the smaller of the two, who it seems was the runt of the litter and had lots of digestive issues as a small kitten (all fine now luckily), has always been a bit unsteady on his paws and wobbles / falls over a fair bit. A bit of googling makes us think he may have a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) which can cause this wobbliness. He is absolutely fine in himself and couldn't care less about it all, bless his fluffy paws. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of a cat like this to share? TIA

Oh - here they are when they were younger! Wobbly boy is the grey and white.

Have you seen a vet about it?

MsMims · 25/11/2017 20:50

Yes, this is really something for a vet to diagnose and advise on. Did the RSPCA say he’d had any issues when you adopted him?

No advice, they are just so bloody cute.2 cats is the best 😺😺

I guess we will take him to the vet - just haven't so far as he isn't unwell at all, and the wobbliness isn't getting any worse. Would still be interested to hear if anyone else has any experience of this? Yes they are pretty gorgeous aren't they!

My neighbours cat has it bless her - she's so cute. The good thing is she can't climb fences so she's safe in the garden. her back legs wobble and she sits down a lot but it doesn't seem to bother her at all.
