I'll start, in no particular order and over many years of cat ownership:-

A side of smoked salmon from a buffet.

A McDonald's Happy Meal toy, we had no children at the time.

Marzipan balls from a Christmas cake.

Sausages from under a lit grill

Meat from the shopping bag while it was bing unpacked.

There's plenty more...!

Mouse trap complete with dead rat...

A large freshly-cooked lamb chop. Still warm (obviously not dead yet). That was the evening we had fish for tea.

My old cat used to steal pencils. I once caught him running through the house with a plastic dinosaur in his chops presumably to hide it in his bed? Confused

Pens. Pencils. My dirty sock (yuk). Not stolen but shreds up letters if I leave them lying around. Hair scrunchies

One cat, gadget, used to steal neighbours underwear from there washing line. Another, kitty, would go to the chip shop and return with saveloys and occasionally the Chinese takeaway to get ribs which she would leave uncooked by the oven as if waiting for us to cook them for her, which of course we did. Sadly neither Gadget or Kitty are with us anymore

The sock off my foot.

My parents’ cat is rubbish at hunting. The only thing she has successfully brought in from outside is...a toy Smurf.

When we were young, we had a Mother and Son crime team.

The Mother used to steal carrier bags and the sons choice was cutlery!

A live hamster. No idea where she got it. We live in the middle of a row of terraced housing, our yard backs on to the yard of the row from the next street. At least 50 houses easily accessible via the garden wall. I was looking out of the kitchen window one evening trying to figure out what she was playing with. It was starting to get dark so I went out to take a closer look and this poor hamster (absolutely huge by the way - definitely obese) was lying there terrified and in obvious pain. My husband had to put it out of its misery - although he had to wrestle it off the cat first. I've always wondered about the family that never knew where their pet went!
