Hello, I hope this is the right place to put this. My dad has just been diagnosed with lung cancer, it's likely to be terminal. Due to his declining health he is likely to be moved from his current housing into a hospice or similar.
He has a kitten around one year. It's a lovely, beautiful cat and I would love to take it but unfortunately I really can't. My landlord will not allow it and I can't afford to be evicted.
The cat is well loved, neutered, vaccinated, litter trained. Good with kids, my daughter plays with him all the time.
He has asked me to arrange the cat a new home. Obviously surrendering him to a rescue would be a (heartbreaking) last resort. I believe sites like Preloved attract people who pick up cheap animals for baiting
I'm worried that advertising him free could see him go to bad hands, but asking a price could put good owners off.
The kitty is in NE London. Could anybody please advise the best way to find him a loving new home. Thank you.
