To report my neighbours for cat theft?

I have 2 gorgeous cats, both sisters, both very different. Actually they are both dds.
One cat is the dominant house cat. The other is ultra gregarious and a bit of a tart... She eats at mine then eats at all my nieghbours too. She follows us everywhere but also follows everyone else!

A few months ago she lost a lot of weight... I was very worried so I took her to the vet. The vet said it was fleas so we treated her. She did look like a scraggly stray but she has put all the weight bk on and looks fab again.
My neighbour told me someone else on the estate was feeding her knowing that I own her. Today dd saw the woman grab my cat and take her in. Dd was v upset.
So I went there to ask the nieghbour to release her and kitty ran out.
She then laid into her about how I don't feed her... I do... twice a day.
How I leave her alone when I'm on holiday.... I do but my nieghbour, a vetinary nurse comes in twice a day to feed her and check up on them.
I don't do kennels as my last one got kennel cough at the local animal sanctuary ones.
She told me that if my cat was hers she wouldn't let her out on the road. My cat does wander around my road but she is NOT a house cat and would hate it. She's a hunter.
Maybe I should keep her in?
I told my nieghbour she should ask my dd of she can keep the cat as I do feel cats choose their owners but she then told me I prob can't look after dd either and she was going to call the RSPCA.
I told her to go ahead. If it wasn't for dd I prob would let her keep poor kitty but poor dd is so heart broken I feel like going to the police.
Kitty acts like a stray and is a total tart but she loves coming in to cuddle dd.
I think the problem is she didn't get on with her sister. Perhaps we should let her go. Sad

To make it clear I feed them dry food and a pouch of wet food twice a day.
Perhaps I should get whiskers.

Well Whiskas isn't a good food anyway, (cat equivalent of McDs) so not really a factor. But... how come your cat got so overrun with fleas that she was losing weight?

Get dreamies Wink

Please keep up to date with your cats flea and worm treatment. Cats that wander are particularly susceptible to catching stuff.

You can't go to the police. She hasn't stolen her. She gave her back and gave you a dressing down. That's not a police matter Grin
