Does this cat belong to somebody?

We have plenty of cats walking around our garden and fences. But the one I saw this morning is new.

And she is the friendliest little thing! Which makes me think she belongs to somebody? She's happy to be stroked. Seems well fed. She was keen to get into the house, and kept coming to me for a stroke.

Since I haven't seen her before I think she might be lost. Or she may just be new to the neighbourhood. How can I tell??

I'm really taken by her, she's lovely. I'll be scanning the posters around my streets to see if anybody is looking for her.

Would she have a collar if she had an owner? Apologies, I'm very ignorant when it comes to cats... Smile

eachand really? Aren't catteries really sad places?

Anyway, we also have a just 2 and a 3.5 year old which some say is too early for a cat. Although we would like a grown up cat so maybe that's ok. Lots to think about.
