They are beautiful!! Got my dd a book in looking after kittens yesterday and we are practicing stroking gently with her toys.

We have 2 rescue kittens, they have been with us 2 weeks and are 12 weeks old now. We did all the things mentioned on here and they have settled really well. They are beyond crazy though, they run around together like lunatics and fight loads, it's so funny to watch.

We keep them in the lounge, its a big open plan room and they are already on the bloody kitchen worktops etc. They try to bolt every time the lounge door is opened also. We keep the other doors shut so at least we can find them if they get out the lounge as they are prone to hiding.

They are great fun, they are harder work in a different way to than I thought though. They are litter trained really well and used a covered tray, no scratching anything they shouldn't however they are like having toddlers as are in to everything so it's hard work from that point of view. Fortunately they sleep lots so there is lots of respite ha ha.

One stole a chicken nugget off my plate today (I just fancied some chicken and it's all I had so please don't judge my lunch lol).
