Unwell kitten

st picked up our 2 gorgeous rescue kitties on Mon. They're about 8-9w and totally edible in their amazingness ❤️. The rescue centre advised they had wormed and de-flea'd them prior to this ... not sure if this was via the vets or something over the counter though. They are due vaccinations shortly. This morning, one of the kittens vomited a couple of times and seemed more subdued than she has been. DH mentioned in passing that both cats had discovered one of our house plants last night (I was out) and spent some time "attacking" it. Having googled I think it's a dragon plant (dracaena) - we've had it years, and with previous cats, and I had no idea what it was, and that it was toxic to them. sad I took both kittens to the vet today - no obvious signs of problems I'm told, (in terms of temp, feeling tummy etc) and they've wormed the one who has been vomiting again as vet thought it could easily be that, rather than the plant. But I'm now terrified and feel terrible - has anyone any experience of this? Vomitycat has since had something to eat which hasn't reappeared, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed ...

It could just be the change in environment. Have you given the same food as they had at the rescue place? If you change food its best to do it gradually

Hi, sticking religiously to type of food and meal times. She seems a bit perkier this evening and her dinner has stayed put, so am hoping what ever it is is passing ...

Random vomiting is not unusual. Keep an eye out for listlessness, lack of appetite, staggering, lack of response etc. but generally a one off vomit isn't anything to worry about.
And yes, photo?

My fully adult Boycat has a habit of vomiting for no apparent reason, we reckon that he's bolting his food down a bit too fast sometimes as what comes up is usually "fresh". Nothing wrong with him physically, he's big & glossy & very lightly overweight, does the right number of poos & wees etc. We think it's a hang over from their feral days.

Change of environment, new people, new sounds and smells can all stress cats out and make them throw up. Please don't stress - although annoying it's relatively normal!

I had a cat who bolted his food and then ran around like a madman and threw it up about thirty minutes later. He was vet checked and perfectly healthy - just one of those things!

And yes - pictures please!!
