Does anyone else's cat do this?

My lovely kitty is obsessed with washing up sponges!

She steals them and growls at us if we try to get them back. At first we didn't know what the noise was - she's never growled before! Today she got the magic eraser and went mental. I've even taught her to fetch like a dog using a sponge.

Anyone else's cat do this or other crazy obsessions?

Mine likes wrapping paper and carrier bags. Only to sit on though.

He's odd isn't he?

(Yes, he has had that wrapping paper since Christmas!)

Mine loves bread products...a sandwich in a sandwich bag is their favourite thing to steal and destroy. Hmm

My littlest cat loves Nerf darts. Absolutely adores them. She has a little box of them that lives on the windowsill and she takes them out one by one and carries them around in her mouth.

She also growls so incredibly loudly that the first time I heard it, I honestly thought next door were doing some drilling.

We had a dummy thief! Morph used to steal dropped dummies (Ds2 had one) and he then moved on to bringing in ones he found dropped in the street!
What's worse he used to bring them in inhis mouth like he was sucking them Grin. Nothing dafter looking than a 25 pound Maine Coon sucking a dummy!

ripping up my post! (plus the bobbles thing, and definitely loves and tirelessly entertained by a solitary pipe cleaner!)

if any letter drops on the floor, or enveloped still, he will sit on it and literally use both sets of claws and mouth to rip it to shreds! praps its the smell of strangers on it?

i had a pair of brothers who both loved to sit under the dripping bath tap and play with the water till they were both soaked, it was so entertaining to watch i would leave the tap drip and dribble just to see the spectacle.

I would hold another cat up to the ceiling and walls to help in her 'fly quest' and she would completely trust me to keep her rear end whilst she flung her front end around and reliable captured and ate any fly that dare'st to enter our home.
