Cat fleas driving me (and cat) mad!

Can anyone recommend a cat flea treatment that actually works (short of taking her to the vet)? I've tried Advantage,Frontline and Advance and none have seemed particularly effective,as I'm still finding the damn things on my bed! (her favourite sleeping spot). She seems better for a few days about 48 hours after treatment then the frantic scratching starts again. I've followed the instructions to the letter too. Help!

We use Advocate, but it's prescription only. As nothing else is working you may well have to take him to the vets. You'll also need to treat the house, I think Indorex is usually recommended on here.

Good luck!

Advocate is the best I think and stronghold is also good. One thing you can also do is get a good flea comb and comb them out everyday into the bath until gone. This is what I did with one of my kittens who came from his breeder riddled with fleas!

Are you only treating the animal?

If you're finding them on your bed, you need to treat the house too! Get Indorex.

Frontline is well known to not work btw

You need to go to the vet and get something on prescription and treat the house.

Advocate works brilliantly on my two cats.

Thanks for all your responses. Is Indorex prescription only or can I buy it without one? Must admit I've never heard of it! Blush

Sounds like a resounding vote for Advocate then! Fingers crossed this one works.

This is Indorex

It's the only thing that worked when we became infested.

Looks like a visit to the vet is in order then.
