Cat food and litter.

So we have a new (rescue) kitten coming to us in 6 weeks time when she will be ready to leave her mother.

After stopping dd from going kitten crazy and ordering a ridiculous lots of kitten toys on Amazon we need to order in some kitten food. We obviously will strt on whatever she is being fed by her rescue but going onwards what would be a good one to buy.

Bonus points if its a) available online and b) doesnt come in cans so I dont have to deal with washing out cans of catfood. Will dry food also be needed?

What about litter? Something that is flushable so I can stick it down the toilet in small amounts rather than having a bin full of cat litter

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Dd is 10 btw

Best suggestion would be to give them them a ring and request an extra kitten. .
Mner voting on such is usually unanimous. .

To coin a phrase Dh will shit kittens if I inform him that TWO are appearing in the house.

Its taken him a loooooooooooong time to accept the fact that we will be getting a kitten as it is

Although my sofa and curtains might survive if said kitten has a playmate plus 2 kittens playing together are rather cute. Once they are here, he can't exactly send one back like a pair of too-small trousers................
