... has removed boy cat's fetching red polo neck babygro, clearly considering him at risk of heatstroke.

Grr. I get they were probably trying to help, but who thinks we'd have dressed him in it for a laugh during a heatwave?

Now he is down one wound-covering suit, at expense, and almost certain to reopen the site on his neck near his jugular, and the vet & I will have to go to option 2 - surgery or another way if attaching a dressing to a neck wound.

Grr.

Keep him at home then.

Yes - unfortunately today of all days we failed and he scarpered. Too many people on a hot day in and out to the garden and car - and he's no fool. Grr.

Go why do people bloody interfere with other peoples pets????

Go round all the neighbors asking if they have it?

We back onto about 3 different roads (and ours is a long one). I could ... but to be honest the damage is done now, and I don't think anyone would admit to it. Either someone thought they were doing us/him a favour, or they fancied their own cat clothing. He's re-rawed the site now anyway. Arses.

The thing is - why would you? It must have been a bit of a struggle to get him to have it pulled off - and then it must have been obvious once they'd done so why he was wearing it. So really, one of my neighbours should be door-knocking themselves to offer an apology!
