Had to o out very early this morning. At 6 we arrived home to see Coco aka stupidcat walking along the pavement. When she hears the car she runs hell for leather the wrong way along the terrace. She then sees it's us and runs back along road shouting! She then jumps on the end wall so we open the front door for her and she pretends she has no idea what to do. I then go through to back of house, stand in garden calling her and DH said she threw him a dirty look and rushed along side of house and in though kitchen door!

I once went away for two nights when I got home, she took one look at me and ran away as if she had never seen me before! She hid for 2 days!
She also fell out of a tree this week but that's another story!

Hmm mine are as thick as mince. But I'm beginning to think that Snorg is only pretending as she understand exactly what I say to her. And does what she's told!

Haha cats are so weird.
Mine is either a crafty bugger or thick beyond belief, there is no in between. She plays her timing right to get fed more than once by different people in the morning for example, she'll come to me for her breakfast when DP's not around and wait until I've left the room or gone to work and then start on him so he thinks she's not been fed yet.

On the other hand she sometimes sits at the front door crying to be let in despite having a perfectly working cat flap in the back door.
And watching her try to catch the wood pigeons in the back garden is hilarious, she is rubbish. She starts stalking them when they're in a tree, in plain view from about 15 metres away Grin

My inlaws cat is incredibly thick and expects the weather to be different depending on which door or window he looks out of. When it rains he goes from door to door looking increasingly put out. He also repeatedly walks into things instead of going around and still doesn't react to his name.

Ours on the other hand is a bloody evil genius. She can open drawers to steal cotton buds and dreamiest and has recently worked out how to get into the fridge. She gives herself away by suddenly doing a mad dash with her stolen contraband though.

Griefcat is very thick, ( although besotted dh gets angry if I say that, especially if I sing the Griefcat is a stupid cat song).

If he sees you have a treat stick in my hand he will snatch it away before I have a chance too open it, and will try to open it himself. When this fails he will give me a "do something!" Look and reluctantly let me take it away to open it.

He will also do that waiting by the front door thing, even though he has a perfectly good catflap installed at considerable inconvenience and expense.

One of mine likes to jump through one of two little high windows next to the french windows. She can only jump through by balancing on the back of the garden bench.

Sometimes she jumps hopefully when the window is closed & ends up hanging by her front paws from the windowsill till, she realises & drops down Grin

Once she tried to jump through the other window, straight up from the patio, as there is no bench underneath.

She couldn't jump high enough & sort of hung in the air for a couple of seconds, desperately scrabbling at the window before falling to the floor Grin
