Rescue cat

So we have fallen in love with a gorgeous little lady from our local rescue centre, we went Thursday pm to reserve her and are now waiting for the phone call to do the home visit. It's agony waiting for the phone to ring, daft question but how long roughly does it take from reservation to bringing them home?

THe cat bed thing made me laugh. We were so excited with our new kitten that we went immediately out and bought an expensive ish cat bed. Nine months later it has never been slept in. She prefers the basket of clean washing ...
We got ours from the Scottish SPCA. They didn't do a home. I sent an application in and they said all looked fine and we went home with a kitten the next day. Is that normal? Maybe the google earthed us to see the house / garden and road situation...

One of mine uses a cat bed, but the others sleep wherever they please.
