New rescue kitty home and without a name

Today we brought home this rescued this little beauty. We know very little about her, she is about 1 year old, and was dumped at a local farm a few months ago and is possibly the most affectionate kitty I've ever met, she was never given a name. We have 9 other cats and I'm going up blank for name ideas. We already have
Momo
Suru
Lennon
Shinobi
Pixie
Bumble
Cici
Teddy
and Tux.
(We have also had, in our time a Lady, George and Narla)

Any ideas welcome.

Ah she's so gorgeous she looks like my Sybil! (We have a Basil too...)
I like giving cats traditional names, she looks a bit like a Maud to meSmile

I like the suggestion of April, above. She's so sweeeeet!

Inspired by a current Tack Room thread, I nominate Kevin Smile

Asmoto · 27/04/2017 19:57

gettin Surely it would have to be Kevinette for a girl Grin ?

Decima, Greek name for the tenth.

So after some backwards and forwarding between Cleo and Zelda, we have settled on Zelda. Although I have added April to another list.

Late to the party - but what a beautiful cat!! I loved the suggestions of variations on 10 - the frustrated linguist in me I think. Zelda is gorgeous 😻

Zelda is great 😀

At the time we got Teddy and Tux we still had George and Narla, which made Teddy and Tux 10 and 11 and we did consider calling them ten and eleven or something similar, but decided against in the event we lost someone and it would be upsetting. Technically speaking little Zelda is our 14th but I can't find a nice twist on that lol.

Suru's full name is actually garagarasuru which is Japanese for wobble (he was a very wobbly little kitten when he was born)

Zelda suits my husbands geek mind and in turn our son. Plus has more options to be shortened or lengthened in a cute way.

Ooh, that was one of mine! [proud]

She is utterly gorgeous. I'm so envious.
