I don't mean dead birds/rodents of course.

Bit under the weather atm, and Little M will just check in on me from time to time by jumping up and softly tapping me. He's a little Pisces, oldest sign of the Zodiac.

The first time I met him, he put his paws on my shoulders and stared very searchingly into my eyes, seemed like a very old soul, iykwim?

Head bumps are my favourite thing from Vinocat. She is quite a purry little cat so when you get the purring and headbumps that makes me happy Smile
When DD was a baby and having mammoth breastfeeding sessions (which I struggled with) she would snuggle right next to me, look at me doing the slow blink purring gently which I found very soothing.

Mycatsapirate - I am weljel! What a beautiful and loving cat you have! She now has, and gives, all the love she has in her lil body!!! My old boy is deliciously lovely and I adore every inch of him - espesh the gentle paw on my face when I have migraines, just checking Mum that you are sort of ok ........ >^^< Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

PosiePootlePerkins · 22/04/2017 08:01

Cats are amazing! My two are not lap cats but they like to be nearby. If I go out in the garden they come out with me, if I sit down they settle nearby. We're just back from a short holiday and girl cat is rubbing all around me this morning (having ignored me when we got back yesterday evening of course, punishment first human!Grin)

RubbishMantra · 22/04/2017 16:00

Thanks Rusty Smile Little M likes shoulder transport too.

That moment when a cat on my chest put his paws over my shoulder and nuzzles in!

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 22/04/2017 16:04

me and idiot cat had a lovely bit of smooching last night...I went up to bed and he was all comfy on the bottom of my bed

He flaunted his floofy belly at me, I counted his toebeans, sniffed his puppy kitten feet, we head bumped, he flicked about with my hair, tried to clean my ear, I managed to get a knot out from under his chin, there was more smooching and then dh caught us and tutted, and ruined the moment.

RustyPaperclip · 22/04/2017 23:08

Mantra we picked up a new feline addition to our home today. He is currently dozing on my chest Smile

RustyPaperclip · 22/04/2017 23:13

Tondelaya toebeans has become a favorite saying in our home! Sounds like a lovely bit of cat smooch

Allergictoironing · 23/04/2017 09:08

OK so mine still don't do lap sitting, or being picked up, but they are both well into their tummy rubs. Girlcat walks up to me, chirrups, waits for me to scratch her head or bum, then collapses with a flump just out of comfortable reach. I have to put a hand on her back & slide her across the laminate floor to reach her tummy without wrecking my bad back, while she just lies there completely limp! I get filthy looks when I can't cope with the bending over any more & stop.

Boycat lies on his favourite bit of the sofa & look hopefully at me. If I don't notice he saunters over to stand by my feet looking hopeful until I scratch him. He then leaps onto his favourite seat and I have to go and sit next to him and rub and pull his ears & stroke under his chin until he dribbles with joy. He then wriggles around until the whole belly is exposed & I stroke that - he pushed my hand into whatever place he wants using his back legs (he LOOOVES just between his back legs, big perve). When I stop he looks pathetically at me for a bit, then stomps off upstairs in a hump.

Ooh, where's the photo of NewCat, Rusty?

MCat currently circling me like a vulture, since he nicked my ham sandwich off me the other day, despite having a full food bowl. I shall be sure to eat this one.

Aww. Everyone has gorgeous cats.

We reserved a cat with Cats Protection today and we collect her on Wednesday. I can't wait to see her personality. She chose us today. Every time we walk passed she came out of her bed and meowed. She didn't do it with anyone else.

RedMetamorphosis · 30/04/2017 17:04

DP thinks one of our cats is too obsessed with me - particularly at night when he jumps into bed, climbs up the bottom of my PJ top and sticks his head out of the neckhole so he can be as physically close as possibly to me.

Stilllivinginazoo · 30/04/2017 17:13

silly one of my boys "chose" me.best love I've ever had from a kitty.he headbutts and nuzzles my neck.trys groom hair(cheers mate but fish breath isn't my scent of choice in my hair) follows me to corner shop."talks" to me(often) and is such a cutie!! Drives me but bonkers opening front door letting drafts in,but he's forgiven when he rubs and loves me!

Stilllivinginazoo · 30/04/2017 17:15

He likes to "mind melt* press forehead to my forehead and purr loudly.and rub his little furry cheeks to mine, switching sides often.ahh, makes me want a furry cuddle (he's laying in his favourite sun spot in garden asleep at mo.its clouding up so expect he let self in soonGrin)

RubbishMantra · 30/04/2017 18:47

Ah, the Vulcan mindmeld, stilllivinginazoo. Cats are masters at that.

Similar to you, my rabbit died when T was a kitten. I was really upset about it, partly because I'd noticed something was wrong in the morning, but when I'd rung the vet he'd said to wait and see what happened, so I felt in some ways it was my fault because I should have insisted on an appointment regardless.

T spent te nigt on my bed, and every time I woke up crying se'd get up and put er paw on my face. Was very toucing.

(Apols, te key between g and j as stopped working!)

sugarplumfairy28 · 01/05/2017 20:48

I lost my boy in October, he was my soul mate in cat form. We had a connection like no other. He truly thought I was his Mum. I loved how he had a special purr just for me. If I was ever ill, he would refuse to leave my side. If I was ill in bed and was in pain he would fetch my husband. There are so many other things about him too. After I lost him, his son has tried his best to step up. He would just appear when I would (still do) start crying and be there for me, and come sit with me of an evening like his Daddy did.

Patienceisvirtuous · 01/05/2017 21:02

Aw lovely stories about lovely mogs.

My lovely girl is my best mate, we have such a bond. I love that she always wants to be touching me with her paw. Even if she's not on me she likes to have at least one paw touching me.

She gives lovely cuddles and stretches her paw up to touch my lips or cheek with squinty eyes. I'll ask if she's tiredy and she lets out a little miaow just for me :)

If I get in from work and DH has let her into the back garden, she sprints back in to see me as soon as she hears my voice then shouts in excitement at me just because I am home 😽
