How old were your kittens when the breeder let them go?

Is 14 weeks excessive?

I feel I'll be missing out on the socialising.
This is a kitten that lives with two litters - what do you think?

That's cute :)

one of mine sits behind me on the sofa, she used to actually sit on my shoulder like a parrot or around my neck like a scarf but a bit big for that now.

He was 7 weeks exactly and how 12 weeks and he is perfect x

Thanks everyone - I am reassured and seeing sense.
Also pleased to hear that Norwegian Forest cats mature slowly because that's what breed he is Smile

You do know we will be requiring a picture right? Mn law

Just musing out loud here, but it seems the cobbier/larger and longer haired cats seem to take longer to fully mature. I wonder why that is?

RubbishMantra · 07/12/2016 21:58

*...Little M, a slender, short haired/semi hairless cat looked the size of an 8 week old when I collected him and brought him home at 13 weeks. But very interested in humping fluffy things at about 16 weeks.

He's still the size of an adolescent kitten really. Normal for his breed though.

The only one I've got as a kitten was 8 weeks, she's the only one who kneads and rolls around as if looking for Mum.
I actually have a Mum and her two offspring, they fed until around 10-11 weeks then Mum cat got pissed off with them, they're all friends now though three years later untill Mum tries to clean them and they all have a hissy fit
It's all fun and cat games in our house Grin
