...because just looking won't do any harm will it?

DD is off to uni in a couple of weeks and I'm feeling very sorry for myself, so have decided to start the inevitable transformation into crazy cat lady Grin

OMG the first one (chocolate)! That FACE!

But in reality, of course, your kitten will probably pick you. When we first met our two, at about 5-6 weeks old, girl cat settled down on DH's lap for a snooze 😻

I think the chocolate is my favourite, his face is adorable. I've even picked a name for my hypothetical kitten - Steve. They're ready to go now, so I wouldn't even have to wait to take him home Grin

Well why are you sat here woman?

I'd be braying on the front door, 11 at night or not!

AyeAmarok · 26/08/2016 23:13

I think I'd call him Dougal.

Dougal Chocolatey Lovebug.

DesolateWaist · 26/08/2016 23:22

Dougal Chocolatey Lovebug.

I think Dougal McChocolatey Lovebug.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 26/08/2016 23:38

None of them.
Now if you let me know the address I'll kindly pop round and explain that you don't want any of them...

NancyJoan · 26/08/2016 23:40

The cream. I love him.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 27/08/2016 02:09

Definitely the chocolate one, just for the expression - but I agree you should have two, so personally I'd choose the pale one too

Do I get the impression the "just going for a look" is now a mere memory?? {wink] Grin

rubbishbin · 27/08/2016 02:10

This thread makes me so sad. Why dose treat animals so cruelly?

(Not taking it personally with you, op)

RebelRogue · 27/08/2016 02:40

The chocolate one. I NEED a kitten now :(

PersianCatLady · 27/08/2016 03:24

I got this one nearly nine years ago now and she is not only my cat but also my friend.

Sorry attached the wrong photo the first time.

Awwwww! Another vote for the first one, it looks in need of love. If you get two then the third as well. Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 27/08/2016 06:41

You can't just take two and leave one behind. You must have all three!

cariboo · 27/08/2016 06:48

We went to "look" at kittens three weeks ago...

Here she is!

I think it's a done deal that at least one of them will be coming home with me! Although, I've just spotted some beautiful oriental kittens that I love...I should just get them all shouldn't I.

DD (3) says you should get all three and their names are, left to right, Ben, Sophia and Milkshake.

TooManyButtons · 27/08/2016 10:31

Milkshake is a great cat name 😁

I need to step away from the cat pictures. I've really fallen in love with the 2 oriental kittens. I don't need 2 kittens. However if I did get them I'd call them Steve and Gavin.

FWIW I prefer the British Shorthairs, not a fan of Oriental cats myself.

I assume you definitely want a pedigree?

NameChange30 · 27/08/2016 11:49

I understand that different breeds have different temperaments, so you should probably go for the one that suits you and your lifestyle best.

GeneralBobbit · 27/08/2016 12:02

Get all 3. There is no point in one cat if you're aiming for crazy cat lady.

One cat is pathetic. You need about 5 for the transition. With a couple of local 6 dinner Sid's who visit just to be considered to join the club.

HyacinthBouquetNo1 · 27/08/2016 12:17

Please step away from the kittens, it is just not possible to go and just look. I did this with some British Shorthair kittens, just for a little look, you understand. Wink I now have 2

validusername · 27/08/2016 12:18

You need to get the chocolate one. Especially if it's a male kitten. Beautiful!

I have a blue bsh and am desperately trying to convince DH to let me get another.

HyacinthBouquetNo1 · 27/08/2016 12:19

If you do get a British Shorthair, you need one in every colour Grin
