Vet suggested Royal Cannin Satiety want a grain free version please?

My two have been on a restricted diet for 2 months no wet food just this dry satiety, boy cat has lost weight enough to now be in his healthy range girl cat lost barely anything.

We started to give less of the dry and give some wet food as ours have never been on an all dry diet and boy cat doesn't really like it.

Still need to watch their weight but if really like a dry food that's good quality and nasty free (unlike the bloody whiskas I can't get them off!)

We've tried
Lily's kitchen
Purizon
Greenwoods
Orijen

They like all of the above but the RC that the vet gave us appears to be the only thing that stops out greedy girl cat yelling food for food at 4am.

Can anyone tell me if the RC is ok or suggest a better version that will keep her fuller for longer?

Sorry for the epic post! Grin

My girls only have Royal Canin Persian dry food. Their coats are beautiful and shiny, teeth in good nick and they have never had hair balls despite being long haired. So I think it's fine!

Please take a look at this site, written by a vet. There's a summary linked at the top. Dry food is really not good for cats, especially males, especially overweight males.

As to suggestions, I like Thrive and Nature's Menu.

I was recommended applaws on here and that's been pretty good for our two cats.

Thanks so much, will look at the link and check out applaws

Have a look at the Happy Kitty Company. All the food on there is great.

Ours have James Wellbeloved grain free. They are thriving on it! And have beautiful soft fur and bright eyes. Though if there's anything better I'd love to hear about it.
