another cat.

We have 2. PaintedBoy, an Oriental, 12 months old who has declared undying love for DS2 and has no time for the rest of us. I do love him dearly though. PaintedGirl is a little tabby who was dumped and we took in. She needed some vet care initially but is now very healthy and very beautiful. She's roughly the same age. She is so sweet. We are given 10 mins of love every morning and that's it for the day. They adore each other.

I'd love them to come sit on my lap but it just doesn't happen.

Tell me all the reasons why I absolutely must not phone the breeder back about the awaited litter of beautiful Siamese kittens. My SiameseBoy loved me and I miss him.

Your children will keep your curly baby nutter amused. They like to play fetch, and love playing with drinking straws.

Has she been brought up in a household environment, with children? It's said they're very good with children (don't have DCs myself) because nothing phases them.

Their ears get very greasy inside, with dark wax. I do Little M's ears once a week with Refesh'r Sensitive wipes, (from Zooplus, or the water only baby-wipes. Hopefully her breeder will have got her into this routine. Mine lets me do it without having to restrain him.

Little M's currently chattering at a flock of Starlings, slightly mournfully, because they won't fly down to him.

Teens can't wait until she comes..keep making me buy more and more toys- had to find a bigger toy basket- I rotate toys for both dog and cats because they indoor only and one of them is a nutter....both cats love drinking straws- I buy big packs of them in poundshop and knot them together with furry pipe cleaners to spider like shapes...

She's been brought up in family home with lots of dogs and cats..pictures of her are normally a big pile of cats...breeder does her ears and nails regularly so she's used to that....I will get cleaning stuff ordered so I have it before she gets here...

Need to get some blue tac and tack down candles and things!

Aah yes, forgot to mention that Blu-Tak is your friend. My Devon boy seems to think it's his actual job to walk over to things, (especially if they're full of liquid), paw outstretched, in readiness to hurl them to the floor. Invest in some water bottles for your bed-time water. Unless you want to be rudely awakened by a a pint of water in the face.

They also have hidey holes. where she will stash any toys, face flannels, socks, anything that takes her fancy really. Sort of a black hole, created by Devons. You will never find these missing objects, so don't even bother to look.

For some reason, Little M has a particular hatred of Yankee Candles. Taken a few chunks out of my skirting boards, knocking them off the mantlepieces. Arsehole. But I wouldn't want to change the little monster in any way.

You will have many years of annoyance joy with your little alien cat Smile
