One of my cats has been hit by a car today and died. Gutted.

My beautiful, fluffy, tabby cat died today. Found by a neighbour and put into a box for me so we can Bury her tomorrow.

Me and the kids are devastated.

She was 5. Very much one of the family.

I'm stupidly upset and keep crying. It's going to be a long night. Thank God the youngest is in with me tonight. Lots of cuddles.

Sounds lovely what you did for her

The planting helps (IMO) It might not flower as well in it's first year, but don't let that cause despondency. They seem to build a resilience to pests after the second year.
