What do you feed your elderly cat?

Hi, just after some advice about my elderly cat. She's 18. She is a rescue cat and has always been small, we've had her since she was 1. She's recently started turning her nose up at her usual sachets of food, she has a mixture of supermarkets own brands, and whiskas or felix (the senior version) If I am cooking a roast she goes mad with the smell and always eats some of the meat, or if we have fish and chips she loves a bit of the cod.
So I am wondering if I have reached the stage where I should be cooking chicken or fish for her. She's an old girl and I don't mind the extra cooking, just not sure if its the right thing to do. What do you all think? Thanks.

Mine has 1/2 sachet of Felix senior AGAIL, but he really likes the Purina One Sensitive biscuits and could exist on just those.
When he was ill we were recommended to try Tuna in spring water and he absolutely loves that- was the only thing he could eat after Pancreatitis and we tried every special vet food there was.

Mine's on renal food and now 17... He's put on weight really well recently after years of being a skinniness. Anyway, one thing I do when he's ill is warm his wet food in the microwave for a few seconds... The smell really seems to help his appetite...

22 is an amazing age, and a 20 year old who still catches mice is remarkable. My 19 year old is very frail now and is on medication for kidney failure and hyperthyroidism. She likes the gourmet perle pate tins, Felix pouches and a small amount of biscuits. I haven't given her any cooked meat, as we're vegetarian. She can't see very well now and doesn't go outside any more, but as long as she's eating and seems happy I think she's doing OK.

Yes. Still hunting at 20 is quite something.
