Has anyone ever collected a cat from Manchester airport?

My cousin has been trying to rehome a gorgeous cat in Dubai for 6 months. And his best chance of a home is over here. He's probably going to be flown into Manchester. I will Collect him and take him to a wonderful rescue in Yorkshire. Where hopefully he will find a forever home. Just wanted to know the procedure for pick up.
Ps I don't really agree with bringing cats from abroad as we have enough in rescues already. But his story has broken my heart and I just want to help him.

Get your mind off it. Can you imagine how His Lordship would react to having to share? Wink

Hollinhurst. I'm sure Ollie would like a white brother? A black and a white cat looks great together!

Oh it's a pity he can't come in to Gatwick, then I would definitely have him. Shame I didn't know about this earlier, was in Dubai 2 weeks ago, could have flown back with me!

PestoSwimissimos · 09/07/2016 16:09

I'm only a 1/2 hour drive from LGW but Manchester is a bit too far really Sad

Pestomy... My OH is flying back to LGW from Dubai on Friday! Wink

Toddlerteaplease · 09/07/2016 16:13

Oh that's a shame pesto, that would have been great. Not got the definite flight plans firmed up but if there is a change of airport I'll let you know!

Yes... I need another cat HmmGrin

hollinhurst84 · 09/07/2016 16:50

cozie GrinGrin
It would either end up with Ollie not speaking to me or me ending up with two cats surgically attached to me

cozietoesie · 09/07/2016 17:24

I don't think that this lad can afford yet another failed adoption, I fear.

As promised, more photos. These were taken last winter before his tail was amputated and he lost all his confidence.

He certainly ticks all the boxes.

MountainDweller · 17/07/2016 18:37

Oh my he is a handsome chap. Hope he finds a lovely new home soon!

cozietoesie · 17/07/2016 19:37

He's a wonderful chap. Smile

Wordsaremything · 17/07/2016 19:49

I may be interested Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 17/07/2016 20:22

Really, words. Please me if you are serious. I would but I don't know how to!

I've been persuaded not. I have three cats already and I suspect he needs a one cat household.
