You're starving and need the toilet but the cat is comfy on your knee so you stay put

You get up on the middle of the night for a wee, and apologise to the cats for waking them up.

You go back to bed, only to find they annexed it all, so sleep on the sofa instead.

Your dh who says he doesn't like cats, put a ladder in the water butt in case the cat ( who he secretly loves) falls in whilst taking a drink.

I'm certain my cat does this.

I'm relieved other people do wrapped presents and cake with (the right number of) candles.

I feel less alone

Thank you miffle. I think you mean the mark or her side. She's had it for years, over grooms to the point of licking the fur right off. Believe it or not, that's it practically healed. She's got so much better since ds arrived. the vet is clueless to why she does it, just something cats do

When they carefully inspect your newly arrived Woolly Hug blanket, received this morning, and the curly tyrant decides it was made for him and curls up for a snooze in it.

Omg I need a curly cat

When you open the door to let the cat out (as he's meowing at it) even though there's a perfectly hood cat flap there that he is more than capable of using.

When you feel really guilty for not providing sunshine on demand.

When he sits staring mournfully through the open cat flap, and you put your dinner down to open the door.

And yes Emo, everybody needs a curly cat. With a bald pink tummy covered in peach fuzz. They are curly little alien jesters, although slightly sweaty at times. (not much fur to absorb the oils.) And sometimes I wonder if he's a dog or monkey in a cat-suit.

When you kneel at your desk to work on your computer because the cat looks far too gorgeous and comfortable on the chair to be disturbed. For over two hours knees shot to buggery now

A dear friend of mine has recently become a cat parent.(late vocation) I was worried that cat hair all over his beautiful new house would drive him mad or white cat hair on his black suits would be an issue. He doesn't care in the least and finds the contents of the litter tray fascinating. he was also delighted when they both joined him in his chapel when he said mass. (The one room in the house I thought would be out of bounds)
He's completely enslaved. It's hilarious!!

When you get up at 2 am to chase out 'Bastard Cat' who is comming in and stealing her food as she sleeps on the pillow next to where you were 5 seconds ago.

You know you could close the bedroom window he comes in through, but then if madam wakes she wouldn't be bale to go out, or sit with her nose out.

You feel guilty when it is snowing, you are wearing 14 layers and you close the window where afore mentioned cats likes to sit with her nose in the cold and her bum in the 'warm'.
