Do you let your cat out in the snow?

Just wondered if I should have not let her out this morning.

We don't have snow here but I doubt they would, they don't even like rain. Zara will go out in the yard and survey her territory in most weathers but Bibi considers the cushion/radiator combo infinitely preferable to most of what the great outdoors has to offer. I've evicted her to the yard just now so Zara has half a chance of eating her breakfast in peace - she's sitting in the window making accusatory owl eyes at me as I type.

My cat hates the snow. She has been known to stare balefully out of the cat flap for 24 hours before forcing herself outside. She can cope if there are human footsteps in the snow as she can step in them!
