Hello

We are picking this beautiful little girl up from the rescue centre tomorrow morning. Went to meet her today and she is just perfect as a new cat for my parents who had to have their beloved puss PTS just before Christmas.

She is around 18 months old. Has anyone got any ideas for a name for her?

Thanks in advance Smile

My mum is not the best with coming up with suggestions bless her. She's offered Yoko so far...

She will be a surprise for my dad tomorrow, it's his birthday. He's lost without his cat. He has agreed to having a new one by the way!

Thanks all for the great suggestions x

I'm going to offer either Tuska (think it's connected to Christmas somehow!!) or Lagatha.

DD (10) said Mittens.

Yoko seems rather more inventive!

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 02/01/2016 17:41

Our cats are Scout (sadly departed) and Atticus. Obviously they were not named by DD!

Jellicle cats are black and white...

Moonlight.

Toonie ( after Newcastle, colours black and white, hope your dad is not a Sunderland fan..)

Helsbels81 · 02/01/2016 17:53

Ah, Toonie is cute. DDad is a Leeds fan, not sure how he feels about Newcastle actually!

These are brilliant, too many to choose from now!

How is she and what did you call her?

Marilynsbigsister · 03/01/2016 18:19

She looks like a 'Bailey' to me !

Helsbels81 · 04/01/2016 10:48

Hi Pipbin, we went for Betty...my DS's choice in the end. She has already become Betty Boo Smile

She was understandably overwhelmed on arrival yesterday, after being in the centre since September, but she coped so well and was near us all the time. She is so affectionate and has so many cuddles to give. She slept under my parent's bed all night.

I think she will fit in perfectly. Thanks for all the name suggestions x

She's gorgeous! I think Betty suits her-she looks quite relaxed in the photos.

StirredNotShaken · 04/01/2016 16:34

Holly as she is a Xmas kitty or Mabel.

Wolfiefan · 04/01/2016 16:37

Oh bless. Yes Betty Boo is lovely. And it does suit her. Thanks for letting us know.
And we also had a Susie cat btw op!

My first ever cat was a "matilda" & its the first name that came to mind. Beautiful cat.
