If your cat/s were human, what sort of person would they be?

My boy would be a handsome, bumbling very gentle slightly dim middle aged man. If he was married, he would be devoted to his wife.

Pearl would be a scientist with a penchant for outdoor sports. She is fiendishly intelligent

I have a mother/daughter combo. They are EXACTLY like me and my daughter. The daughter is crazy, sweet and annoying. The mom is grumpy, intolerant yet loving.

hiddenhome2 · 05/12/2015 08:36

Old Cat is a bad tempered, but rapidly mellowing old lady. When she was younger she was antisocial and feisty, but with a caring side too. She's a very complex cat who is difficult to define.

William is a nervous, middle aged recluse. He'd spend his time reading and collecting stamps

The old girl cat would be an old, sweet natured librarian who would slope into the back room to file some cards if the library patrons got rowdy. She'd keep her pack-up in a Tupperware box and graze silently and politely throughout the day on hummus and vegetables.

The young girl cat would have an asbo for picking fights outside the off licence. She'd never put her chip paper in the bin and talk loudly with her mouth full.

The boy cat would be a base jumper and snow boarder, amongst other adrenaline fuelled sports, but wouldn't be very good at any of them and spend most of his year in plaster casts. He'd find it all very amusing and would find other ways to endanger his life despite being in traction.

Waxlyrically · 05/12/2015 16:26

My boy would be an entitled, teenage long haired lout at home but on leaving the house would transform in seconds into a terrified recluse hiding in trees and hedges whilst plotting mass murder.

JimmyGreavesMoustache · 05/12/2015 16:28

Lucille Bluth, basically
She's of a certain vintage, immaculately turned out, and really rather mean.

cozietoesie · 05/12/2015 19:37

Seniorboy has been likened to the High Llama in Lost Horizon. (The Sam Jaffe one.) I, myself, don't think he has the necessary streak of compassion but then I may not see him as clearly as others for being so close.

  1. Doe eyed sweet young irresponsible thing that the girls all swoon over, only has to bat his eyelashes to get what he wants.

  2. Self-centred unbelievably handsome and athletic fellow prone to irrational bouts of generosity and general bullying behaviour. Goes regularly for expensive man-grooming sessions.

  3. Sun-reading fag-ash dusted over overweight never takes any exercise middle aged balding guy. Has recurring bouts of psychosis.

ThisFenceIsComfy · 05/12/2015 19:49

My cat would be a plump Russian aristocrat, full of neurosis and a Jekyll and Hyde personality. A recluse, who can be charming yet hostile.

EllieJayJay · 05/12/2015 22:38

These are lovely

Cat 1, is pretty much like me although she is a little more lazy, loves her food, would do anything for chicken. Very very loving, loves cuddles a little grumpy if tired :) she is rather poorly lady so a little more grumpy. She would be a doctor I'm sure

Cat 2, my beautiful boy - he'd be like a male model beautiful to look at but not that bright... (Apologises to male models I'm sure your not all like my cat)

Cat 3, is little still but she is crazy! She is like cat 1, but into everything i, very easily distracted think she would be some sort of artist

Love them all :)

thenewaveragebear1983 · 05/12/2015 22:41

I have 3, one would be a cool arty musician type, one would be like Neil Morrissey in men behaving badly, and the third would be a total ass.

isseywithcats · 07/12/2015 22:45

Biscuit would be a 16 year old with a wall full of asbos
Blue would be a good looking arrogant 25 year old male office manager type person
Jo Jo would be a blonde airhead follower of fashion
Jasper would be OCD and anxious and constantly saying sorry

FruVikingessOla · 09/12/2015 19:28

DP frequently refers to DozyFruCat as 'Tim Nice But Dim'. He is a bit dim (hence my calling him dozy on MN). But, actually, he's not quite as dozy as he likes to make out - we've caught him out being quite clever ...... sometimes ...... but he's mainly TNBD! He has got the most beautiful fur which also smells delicious - so I guess he might be one of those Made In Chelsea Pretty Boys Grin

MadFruCat. Well, I think he'd be a hobo, of sorts. In fact, when we got him DP wanted to call him Hobo, but I thought that was a bit of a sad name. So I gave him another name which, I think, really suits him. But he's always been a bit of an outdoors cat. I guess he might have been a bit of a Local Wide Boy Shagger (until we had him neutered - previous owners hadn't Hmm)

(They are both adult adoptees to us.)

FruVikingessOla · 09/12/2015 21:18

Here they are. DozyFruCat is the black & white and MadFruCat is the tabby.

susurration · 09/12/2015 21:37

Suscat would be a toddler. She refuses to sleep in her own bed, likes to be cuddled, hates sharing.

Minimammoth · 09/12/2015 22:50

My kitten girl would be 12year old gamer with ADD, but kind hearted. She'll grow up to be a Bungy jumper.

StopLaughingDrRoss · 14/12/2015 20:35

My boy is middle aged in middle management and wears a pressed suit every day. He utterly adores his wife and lives in a lovely house in the suburbs. Of an evening, he'll either settle in front of the TV for some crime drama and inevitably drop off to sleep or he'll immerse himself in his hobby of bread making...

I love him and his wonderfully simple life!

dingit · 14/12/2015 20:42

Mines a complete and utter diva, and struts about doing what she likes, note her sitting on our biscuits for cheese last Xmas.

BuggersMuddle · 15/12/2015 11:48

BuggersMoggy would be an ageing gangster who ran his territory with an iron fist. He'd probably specialise in extortion and protection rackets.

Local little old ladies would love him though, he'd give to charity and he'd probably be really good to his family.

I love him, but I accept that he's a thug Grin
