We've just taken this poor boy in, he's 4 months old and we're his sixth home Sad however he doesn't have a name. HELP me think of a name for this little bundle.

Bertie.

How on earth has he managed 6 homes in 16 weeks?. Does he turn into a werecat or something.

nightmarehair · 06/11/2015 21:57

The person before us had him for 2 days before deciding that he was too much hard work.

From that picture he looks like a Tangle!
Socks?
Bertie is lovely.

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/11/2015 22:01

Young male animals of most species are hard work.

What a fuckwit he was. So no one named him at all? ours answered to "kittens" but I think he'd answer to anything if I tacked the word food on the end.

Vinorosso74 · 06/11/2015 22:02

No inspiration on names, my brain is tired but he's gorgeous!

Pipestheghost · 06/11/2015 22:02

Bertie is a great name Smile

nightmarehair · 06/11/2015 22:04

I don't think so fluffy, when I asked what his name was they said that they hadn't given him one and that the owner before them hadn't mentioned a name. I think the poor thing is confused from being pushed from pillar to post.

Hard work? That's why I have two kittens! They tire each other out. It works. Sort of!
Wink

cozietoesie · 06/11/2015 22:07

I rather like Bertie for him. (Or Bertram/Bertrand/Albert if he's in disgrace. He has a look about him that says he'd be in disgrace.......not infrequently! Wink)

nightmarehair · 06/11/2015 22:09

We already have Bert for a rat Sad my house is turning into a petting zoo!

George? He seems like he fancies himself a bit of a prince. He is gorgeous btw. Hope he settles in well.

cozietoesie · 06/11/2015 22:11

Is he to be a permanent resident? (And when does he relinquish his pom poms?)

MrsLeighHalfpenny · 06/11/2015 22:11

Clive?

hugoagogo · 06/11/2015 22:12

Ah bless him.

I like Hugo Grin

shutupanddance · 06/11/2015 22:12

shutupanddance · 06/11/2015 22:12

Im liking clive

nightmarehair · 06/11/2015 22:13

Cozie he'll be staying and having the snip when he's settled in.

timtam23 · 06/11/2015 22:14

Poor little scrap. How kind of you to take him. Yes I think something ending in "ey" or "ie" would suit him. Bertie is lovely. Clancy? Albie? Ernie?
I have a Dudley which I think is a good name for a cat. DH used to have a Murphy.

I have always wanted to name a boy cat Poika which is Finnish for boy. However DH has always said that's a silly name Blush

Salemthecat · 06/11/2015 22:15

Walter, Humphrey or Arthur.

cozietoesie · 06/11/2015 22:16

I have a sense that that one will best suit the snip just as soon as you can book him in - he has the look of a bruiser in the making! Grin

TheSpottedZebra · 06/11/2015 22:16

Clive is nice.
Also, Rolf and Percy.

hugoagogo · 06/11/2015 22:17

Our puss is a rescue and a bit of a handful, but we never considered taking her back!

Now we love her to pieces.

Also liking Clive

nightmarehair · 06/11/2015 22:19

He'll be meeting the resident cats once he's settled in. Confused

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 06/11/2015 22:21

Ah - he's a Bruce. (A good calling name as well with the addition of an 'ie' to it to make Brucie. Smile

OVienna · 06/11/2015 22:24

George. And he is bootiful.
