Hi,
I've had my 2 kittens for a week now they are 9 weeks old and are on a 70g pouch of wainwrights kitten food between them 2 times a day but they are meowing for food all the time is there any other grain free additive free brand I could try them on ? they only eat wet food at the moment
Tia

bought them extra wainwrights today and some of the kitten kibble they have had 2 pouches each today so far im just filling the bowl as it empties now they seem a lot more content :) they are also drinking the plain water and kitten milk now so I don't think water mixed with the food is necessary anymore. wainwrights is grain free additive free pork/beef free amongst others imo its the best food out there my dog is on the trays and kibble and is doing brilliantly too its a bit pricey but totally worth it :) id never feed them aldi or supermarket brands ;) that's just me

They eat more than an adult cat at that age. About 200g of wet food a day each, divided into 4 small meals is a good guide. But as others have said, best to feed on demand at this age.

Applaws are cereal free and do kitten biscuits.

Ive been giving them 4 pouches a day now with kitten biscuits they seem much happier going to start weighing them today and keeping trackSmile

Being sick just once in last few weeks is nothing for a cat or kitten.

If you want them to eat dry, try adding boiling water to the dry food (just a little) and it makes the smell of the dry food come through.

Oh obviously cool it down again first.

Ill try the hot water tip tomorrow thanks Smile
