Wink :o

Cats are daft.

Katymac · 21/09/2015 10:17

Yep & there is a large bowl of fresh drinking water next to the bath

Is he a cross soggy cat or does he like water? We're you in the bath at the time?

Katymac · 21/09/2015 10:28

Embarrassed cat, rather than angry

Yes I was & he made quite a splash

My friend had a kitten who accidentally fell in a hot bath when walking round the edge, panicked, scrambled out and promptly fell down the toilet.

She refused to go in the bathroom ever again.

Hopefully your cat will realise drinking bath water is not worth the risk!

:)

I remember one of my cats doing this. He almost walked on water as he leapt out, shrieking. He managed to only get his back end wet.

Ahh poor puss, and sorry but laughing at the cat who fell in the bath and then down the toilet. One of my cats stands on back paws and is fascinated by me being in the bath. She does have quite a horrified look though, don't think she will ever jump in. Are you giving him treats to make up for the trauma?

Bogburglar99 · 21/09/2015 11:25

BBK has gone so far as head and both paws in. But he still persists in promenading along the side when you're in the bath, and climbing out along the taps.

Katymac · 21/09/2015 14:30

He keeps sneezing & looking very sorry for himself

My youngest did this and didn't bat an eyelid, just scrambled out and proceeded to lick herself dry. She still sits on the edge sticking her paws into the water now Grin

He has continued to be a bit subdued - I am watching him as I'm a bit concerned; embarrassment doesn't normally last this long

I can't believe you're alive to tell the tale!

DCat and I used to house share before I got married, I came home one day to a wet bleeding housemate, when I asked her what happened she replied that she realised she'd never seen me bath the cat so thought she'd help out...

Is it a cats and bathroom thing? Whenever I have a bath I end up with company, whenever I go to the loo, the same thing happens. The sink doubles as a water bowl or bed.
