Our new cat is home!

After my lovely old girl passed on we decided to get a rescue cat. He's arrived home today from the centre and is currently checking out everywhere.

Well, I don't know where he's got to this morning. Still, kitty litter has been used and food eaten so there's a cat here somewhere...

Lulu has settled in beautifully thanks Ship - her real character is coming out and she is very playful ! I am beginning to wish I called her Madam Mim! She will not stay for cuddles if I have my phone in my hand as it means she doesn't have two hands on her. She knocked my phone out of my hand last night in disgust

I can't remember what my house was like without her!

I have a feeling that Wolfy is going be a right character. And we can also see signs that he has been in a nice home before. He knows what a fridge is, for example!

I am sure he will reveal his true nature in a short while!

Ours are under a kitchen unit (one kick plate missing) but there was a lovely present in the litter immediately after I changed it

These happy cats are doing wonders for my state of mind. Although making me slightly murderous about people who deliberately abandon their pets.

If you've not done so already, I'd recommend a check up at the vets to see everything is OK. I do this with my rescue cats.

He's a great boy - and I think he has you all under the paw already?

I've just had Lulu at vets for a check over & she's perfectly healthy
Lulu has taken herself upstairs under bed in spare room & won't even look at me!

He is sitting on my lap just now, definitely likes a lap to sit on!
More exploring and lots of sprawling out on the spare bed today

Poor Loulou! It's a rude awakening, going to the vet!

So nearly two hours have gone & she has come down mewing & yowling at at me. That's me told.

Big fluffy beast has decided to sit on my 8 year old son's lap this morning.

Apart from looking massively cute it's a big moment as my old girl would never let the kids near her and they have always wanted a cat that actually liked them!

Ah that's lovely! go Wolfy. The kids must be over the moon.
I was woken by mewing & pawing of my face at 5am I believe I am still being punished for the vet trip. Although it did mean an early cuddle.

Congratulations on Wolfie and LouLou. They both are very, very beautiful and are luck to have picked you both Ship and North!

I just love when they become lapcats. (mine is in bed with me asleep on my belly her favorite place to sleep at night.)
