I use petplan and am about to find out how good they are due to my pain in the arse Persian!

I've always just paid out right for treatments and ops but my ginger boy is costing me a bloody fortune because he likes to dine out at the biffa bins. He's so poorly. He's been at the vets since yesterday and I miss him sooooo much.

Oh dea what have they done? What colour Persian do you have? I had a blue one when growing up, she was fabulous

We use John lewis, they were great when our old cat had cancer; no fuss and very understanding of me sobbing down the phone.Blush

I hope your puss is home safe and we'll with you soon.

They sound lovely Hugo, poor kitty :/

What type of cover do I need. it's so bloody confusing. I need a policy that will cover him when he eats rubbish and gets ill Confused Honestly, I love that boy but he really is a plonker.

Had a blue growing up but got a tortie now. She's got oral lesions so they want to do a biopsy. Gah!

You will want a lifetime policy I reckon but check their website it might not cover previously treated ailments

hugoagogo · 22/08/2015 20:34

Yes I think I got the lifetime policy.

The vet called me this morning and said my cat still hadn't eaten (now 5 days) but he couldn't find anything wrong with him now.

He was going to put him on an appetite stimulant but I did suggest maybe he comes home for the day as he is very highly strung and probably pretty pissed off that he's been unceremoniously shaved, injected, put in a drip then into a kennel.

Vet agreed to let him home to try food...

WELL.. he walked out his cst carrier like there was nothing wrong and straight to his food and water bowl and had a meal and a drink. He's now cuddled up on my bed Grin
