I have a question for you about my cat. Normally my mum comes in to see him once a day (she lives nearby) to give him lunch and she sometimes stays for lunch herself and does washing for me etc...

My cat is very sociable and lately I've been working later (by about an hour). my mum is also away on holiday so for past week and a half no one can visit him...

he is half siamese/half moggy - anyway last night he went mad - loads of frenzied caterwauling, full on siamese screeching - i tried to settle him in his 'bed' area, tried to play (he doesn't really like playing anymore). he just wanted me - who was tired...

his favourite thing to do now is to go to his scratching post - aggressively scratch it and then let me put him to bed and stroke him...

any ideas? will this get worse re the siamese caterwauling? he was 1 year old in April.

Oh this is interesting!
The thing is her heritage isn't really known as her and her brother were taken to the vet to by so called 'breeder' to be pts as she said she couldn't sell them as they were very small and not healthy enough. So vet took them on and the staff nursed them till well enough to be rehomed.

Sorry to derail your thread Super

She's definitely a pedigree and the breeder should have been reported. They're quite a rare and they're aren't too many breeders of Havanas.
Also sorry to have derailed your post Super

cat has changed tactics - this morning he brought a frog in from my pond...

cue me not overly happy at trying to get a frog out of the small hallway... cat then hid under a bench...

Nope, still the same tactic. Now he wants you to learn to hunt frogs so you can provide better care for him Grin

I made the mistake of being annoyed at him can't be sure if I shouted - not much though, he won't get scared of me will he??

Cats are never scared of their slaves!

one plus point mimi the neighbours who were away next door are back this week and this weekend. Felix spends a lot of his time in their garden and they've 'minded' him before - they have a 4 year old DD and 18 month old DS and he likes them. the DGM stays with them a lot she also likes Felix.

The neighbours upstairs I rarely see.... and they can't get into my garden anyway (not shared).
