Erm... where does your cat sit when you're in the bathroom?

We've all seen the ones where they're in your trousers while you quietly contemplate... or laying upside down on the bathmat.... all once the territory of WizardCat.

But alas, not any more, she recently figured out she could sit on the toilet tank.. and now she sits on my shoulder, licking my nose and dribbling on my glasses!

::sigh::

While I'm on the loo she sits on the scales, if I'm in the bath then she walks up and down and then curls up on the corner

They like to dip their tails in the water, then chase them. Sometimes their own, sometimes each other's.

My current lass doesn't really take much interest. She will sometimes be sitting on the windowsill which is directly behind the loo, but won't come in specifically to watch the event. It's slightly disconcerting having her suddenly leaping over one's shoulder, though (the bathroom window is her doorway to the outside world, and I don't always hear her jump up).

My previous lass, however, hated me being shut in the loo and would stick her paws under the door if I dared go in without her. I would let her in if she turned up before I locked the door. But she lived at my mum's house, which had a separate loo, so there was nowhere for her to sit other than the floor (she never tried to jump up on my lap).

She loved water, would drink from dripping taps, and if you were in the bath would walk around the edge. She would try and catch your toes, and didn't mind getting her paws wet.

My mum talks about the time she was in the bath, the cat was walking around the edge, and my rabbit had also gone in to join the fun. My mum was worried the cat would fall into the bath, and was also growing peeved at the rabbit, who was pulling the bath towel out of the room. So much for a relaxing bath!

Darling Twoago did fall into the bath once. That was.......exciting. Hmm

(He avoided the whole room thereafter.)

I'm so glad it's not just me. My older cat is not remotely interested in bathroom activities but my 6 month old kitten will howl the house down if shut outside the bathroom and I'm in there. She likes to sit on my lap or jump over my shoulder to the window and sit behind me batting at my hair.
