Going on hol but no one to look after my cats!

Booked a late holiday for August but my neighbour says she can't feed my two cats for me. I've tried to book them in a cattery but they're all full plus having two becomes expensive. I don't have a cat flap but I do on my shed (they normally don't use it - preferring to come in and out of the house). I wondered whether to buy one of those automatic feeders/water dispensers and put them in the shed. They have bedding in there.
Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks

You probably can't go on holiday.

Hello again. What I should've explained was that my intention was to get someone to top up the automatic feeder - I have a relative who can stop by once per day but not twice and she wouldn't want to clean a litter tray hence using the shed (which has a cat flap and bedding). I do realise that those feeders are not for prolonged periods!
Anyways, I've found a local cat sitter and am meeting her today to sort it Smile

Good luck then - it's sometimes difficult getting one at short notice because the good ones seem to be booked up a bit in advance. (But people cancel etc.)
