One isn't happy as next doors cat gave him a whack today after he stalked and cornered the poor thing. But his brother is giving him a cuddle now.

I'll maybe alter that - he doesn't look large so much as chunky/built. Just as well he's neutered or you'd likely have a stream of panting torties in the garden! Grin

He is a chunk. A small chunk. The Tom Cruise of the cat world. Short man syndrome, does his own stunts, dubious sexuality.

Just set up an instagram account of them. It will save you time in the long run.

Instagram will look into.

So they are wrestling on the rug at the moment, too fast to get a good pic. But have attached a cuddly one from earlier. Excuse all the old covers on the furniture.

They've stayed away from neighbours cat this pm so hopefully beginning to learn...

Terrible cute - scarlet woman that I am to express admiration for any gentleman other than Mr C, they are both highly appealing.

Oh gosh they are so beautiful!!! Envy

That's what I dreamed of when I got my two, lovely kitties snuggled up to me. My two will snuggle but never at the same time as they don't get on that well Sad. wish I'd known this board before I got cats!!! But still, it's the luck of the draw sometimes isn't it

How is the boy after his incident with next door?

We are starting to have a bit more interest in the garden now as we have a mum and her fox Cubs who patrol through- the cats come running into the house with their tails all bushy like a fox/squirrel and then they miaow at me to come out with them- when I am there they act very brave and the mum fox usually runs away. Battle won Smile

Oh tangled your boy and girl are too cute for words. You can tell which one's the boy, he doesn't have a care in the world, does he? I love the pic of them lying on their furs like a pampered king and queen. We too have cubs (6!) and a vixen, we think they are living next door. Funnily enough haven't seen them since I started letting the cats out. Mine too come running to 'mummy' with their tails all bushy, goodness knows what scares them. They tend to stick together when outside which I'm pleased about. I stay out there with them and they seem to have learnt to avoid next doors cat, only going to the top bit of his garden rather than antagonising him by sitting outside his cat flap. So hopefully they are learning the etiquette but we'll see. One of the boys won't back down, the other is a bit more cautious.

Do you keep them in overnight, code?

Report

Yes cozie and they're only allowed in the garden in the day when I am out there with them. I might or might not relax the supervision when they're older but they will always be kept in at night.

That's good. I have a large population of urban foxes round here and while I know that many posters are pretty laid back about them, I've seen what happens when litters of young foxes are abandoned by their mothers and initially roam in concert to hunt - so I'm less sanguine about their acitivities at night time.

Yes I would be very wary of urban foxes, they're too bold (not helped by crazy people leaving food out for them).
