Well I took everyone's advice and didn't pay for a fashionable colour. Meet the newest arrivals to our house, as yet un named.

The superstition with six toed cats is that if you keep them for a year and a day they will grant you a wish.

Shamefully, when we started to look for a cat I was a little disappointed that the most suitable one was black and white. I wouldn't swap him for the world now - he has so much personality!

Pink paw pads = baked beans. Darker pads = coffee beans.

They are beautiful. Black and white cats have lovely temperaments. They always seem gentle and loving.

They now have names, Dotty and Misty. I'll try and get a picture of their paws later. At the moment the dd's are not letting me get a look in

My B&W must be the exception to the rule Hidden. He's terrifying! But I luffs him. I just have to sit very still, and not move a muscle or breathe when he's sitting on my lap. Unless I want to be bitten. I always feel very honoured by his attentions though.
