Because my 10yr old was too upset by its presence in our garden.

I felt mean and heartless. It was cute and small Sad

But unfortunately, I am bound to my cat protector duty punishable by death

How young? Should. It even be out on its own?.

ThisFenceIsComfy · 22/04/2015 21:20

Tbh I did think it was borderline whether it should be out on its own. It was dark and it was a black kitten but it looked about 4 months.

Sorry I should clarify that the 10yr old I mentioned is a cat, not a DC Confused

Poor kitten. Sad

Why the upset?

Sparklingbrook · 22/04/2015 21:22

Oh right. I imagined a child.

Sparklingbrook · 22/04/2015 21:23

I would have probably got SparklingCat in then gone to investigate the kitten.

ThisFenceIsComfy · 22/04/2015 21:23

Haha yes a Freudian slip there.

my cat is my baby

I did try to get her in but she was doing the weird growly circling round my legs thing she does when she sees another cat.

I have always had to see off other cats for her.

Aww, SparklingCat does all the seeing off. She saw a fox off the other night, and it had come for it's supper as it does every night. Sad

I would be overjoyed if a kitten arrived in the garden. Grin

...I would be overjoyed if a kitten arrived in the garden and passed the SparklingCat test ......

When I realised it was a kitten, I was kind of mid-shoo. I wanted to call out for it to come back so I could fuss it a bit, but FenceCat was monitoring my every move.

She seems over her trauma now.

Will never happen cozie. Sad

Fox has appeared for his supper and SC is monitoring him from the garden bench at the moment giving him evils.

ThisFenceIsComfy · 22/04/2015 21:35

I used to feed the foxes at my workplace when I was on nights. Happy days.

FenceCat is gorgeous. Not surprised you are the obedient slave. But o the pathos of the kitten! Go on, break out, give him or her a cuddle when the little one returns.

Mr Cory gets very huffy with me if I dare stroke a strange cat in the street and come back smelling of intruder. I have to wash my hands before making contact with his hallowed fur.

ThisFenceIsComfy · 22/04/2015 21:53

Yes I wash my hands too after stroking another cat!

Once I stroked a neighbourhood cat on our front garden wall and I was worried she would see through the window!
