  1. What is the best wormer?
  1. Best flea treatment?
  1. Should I buy collars before letting them out - they are chipped?

Your vet can tell you all of this and I would recommend a health check if you have only just got them. However, my personal opinion would be:

  1. Drontal
  2. Frontline or Stronghold
  3. My cat has always had a collar despite being microchipped. Also, my vet told me cats shouldn't be allowed out unsupervised until they are neutered as any local toms will beat them up if they are boys and they might get pregnant at a young age if females.

Hope that helps.

We'd be able to give better advice with a few pictures! :)

How old are they? Advocate is good, it's a spot-on treatment and does fleas/worms/mites the lot. Our kittens are only tiny at the moment and the vet used a different flea treatment - can't for the life of me remember what it's called though! The older cats have Frontline, it seems to do the job.

Drontal for worming - avoid the Bob Martin stuff, I had a cat that had a bad reaction to it.

It's completely up to you about the collars!

I use Drontal or Milbemax for worms.

Advantage for fleas.

Both can be bought on the internet, or from your vet. Off the shelf stuff - at best it doesn't work. Worse case scenario it poisons. Bob Martin for example. Flea collars can also poison.

If you're going to use a collar, ensure it's one of the snap off, fast release ones. Not the elasticated type, which can cause horrific injuries.

Don't let them out until they've been neutered.
