Cat photo thread of a different nature - come & play Catspotters!

Ok so this is a game I play with my sister & her lovely glossy cat & I enjoy it so much I thought I'd see if there are any takers on here for a game :)

Basically its a cat photo thread but instead of concentrating on finding a beautiful pic of your cat that shows it off in all its calm furry beauty, the object is to take a pic of your cat right now regardless of what it is doing & post it!

I'll start, here's my cat in my messy living room wearing DP's slippers :)

Mine always had a good 5 hour nap at this time of day, and yes she's partial to the odd Tesco bag

I think we are finding that the cats are mostly asleep.

?? I don't blame them. I would love to be curled up!!!

Mine are both asleep. One is asleep on the sofa with my mum (staying with us to recuperate after a long hospital stay), so I won't photograph him and the other is upstairs, zonked out on my bed.

The only time they stay still long enough for a decent photo to be taken is when they are asleep!

changing, my elderly cat1 always does that, sits on the most uncomfortable thing - a bag, a laptop, inside the kitchen sink . Why????

I love the foot position on your second cat, juniper. Is that a big cat or a small bed? We bought dog bed for cat1 (cat2 won't use pet beds) as cat beds are just too tiny.

Here is cat1 in his dog bed (taken about 3 months ago)

He's only 3.5kg, long, I suppose. He has a layer of blubber in winter but fits the description of Racing Snake perfectly in the summer. Its a bog standard size bed - quite small I think. The Lion absolutely would not fit in it. He likes a stretch.

Thats what the Lion prefers.

All these cats look so comfy & well cared for.

He's not big then, juniper, just one of those little cat beds.

My cat2 is a right lardo and wouldn't fit in a cat bed. Cat2 (who owns the dog bed above) is slinkier but appreciates stretch room, like your Lion.

They are 2 different cats btw, I know they look v similar in my photos! What can I say? We have a thing for black toms

Lion = not slinky. Nickname is fattypatty.

We are definitely missing some action shots.

Summer on the back of the armchair. Her favourite spot. Even sleeps there, never rolls off. When she relaxes you get the odd back foot or tail fall into your ear

Taken just now. My lovely girl lying beside me grooming herself.

My flash annoyed her so she decided to go nosey in the bag on the table. Just waiting for her to realise she can't get her head out of the handle loop and rescue her from it.
