Aggressive cat getting worse

I've posted before about my cat and was advised to remove him from the room whenever he bit/clawed. It's now so bad that he can't ever spend 5 minutes in company before biting/clawing (draws blood) or attempting to trip you up, he's just clawed my OH in the face when he was putting him outside (cat won't use cat flap) and I'm fed up with him, he bullies other cats and I can't trust him to be anywhere near my toddler. Not sure what to do, I don't know that he could be successfully rehomed - he's an ex feral but ended up living in my kitchen after some major operations due to injury.

Any ideas?

How are you getting on with him?

I proper love Jackson galaxy he's mint Grin I was sitting 4 months ago with this slightly traumatised animal who wouldn't sleep unless I held her foot feeling panic stricken as I knew nothing about cats. I watched shed loads of cats from hell and feel a smite more confident now.

And punishment and reprimand means nothing to a cat. There are other ways that work.

All of his programs are on youtube also.

my ds has massive scratch from top of his forehead right down to his nose. Our cat decided to rip his Christmas hat off with her claws. She also bit me this morning and it was bad enough to bleed.

I think Christmas must be stressful for my cat.

I would put a cat flap in and let him come and go as he pleases, making sure there is always food out. He probably doesn't like being picked up or like other cats. At four months when he was found he has missed a massive window for socialization. He may come round eventually.
Please do not frighten him away by spraying with him with water in his own home.
If you knew he was semi feral he should be treated as such on his own terms, mummy cats do not do time out they say NO! and sort it immediately
I have five cats and one is dominant if I am not around but a quick shout and stamping my foot shows who is boss cat when he forgets, he also hates being picked up, even if scruffed some cats can twist and cause nasty injuries, I know to my cost.
Also make sure there enough separate sleeping places, my cats rarely sleep together.

How are things with your cat? I agree, it is worth trying a cat flap. We got a Sureflap (cheaper on Amazon) and our boy loves it. He is very feisty so we let him do his own thing. We cannot try and keep him in overnight, he really throws a strop! He has calmed down a lot even lying close on the sofa and staring at me in a disconcerting way. He seems to like calling the shots when it comes to affection and it's always on his terms. We have had to be very patient with him and the behaviour was similar to yours. But it has been so worth it.
