Dh accidently closed the patio doors today and went for a shower. Fat Cat was still outside and she doesn't like the cold and damp.

The kitten went upstairs and miaowed loudly (she never miaows) at dh until he followed her into the kitchen and realised what had happened and let Fat Cat in.

My cat helpfully sticks it's head next to the catflap to let strays and neighbouring cats in the house (magnetic collar thing). The cats even scratch at the living room window and my moggy runs to the flap to let them in!

It's like a bloody social club!

I have brother/sister 17yo cats who have never liked each other much. G

Girl cat is blind, and at one point took to sitting in the (quiet) road outside our house. Obviously we would bring her inside if we saw her, but one day DH saw boy cat approach her and nudge her back to the garden.

After all these years, it seems he does care!

My two younger boys are always together. They sleep together, eat together and mutual groom. The older boy barely disguises his disgust at these new intruders and regularly slaps them when they get too close. Although I did catch him playing with the younger one the other day. I think he was horrified that I had caught him being nice! Our old lady just wants to be left alone and will growl like a panther if the boys get too close!
