I love Cinnamon's eyes, and her cat tree!

TranquilityofSolitude · 15/12/2014 12:57

So many gorgeous cats here!

Here's my lovely boy. He came to us as a stray and we took months to persuade him to move in with us. At this stage he'd been with us about a year. He has slimmed down a little now - initially he went a bit wild with the food, having never had a regular food supply.

I'm in kitty heaven on this thread Grin

This is Delilah checking out the Christmas tree! She came to us via MN as she was abandoned nearby and we think is about 16 weeks old. She's very shouty but very affectionate and sweet.

Is Delilah one of the kittens who hid in their rescuers chimney?.

RustyParker · 15/12/2014 15:22

Yes Fluffy one and the same Smile

I think Delilah might have been first to mentally break and come down as she's a greedy little madam!

cozietoesie · 15/12/2014 15:29

Has that Xmas tree been pushed sideways?

Grin
MagratsLongWhiteBeard · 15/12/2014 18:01

Thanks cory & Lasting :)

It makes me feel all warm and gooey when I hear about all these cats who had a really tough start to life and ended up in a shelter or on the streets, and now look at how happy and well-looked-after they are.

Tranquility, he's definitely a big lad on that photo, but all the more to cuddle. His fur looks lovely, and it's so adorable when cats have different colour eyes. I've heard quite often here that ex-street cats find it difficult to self-regulate their food, was certainly true of Archcat at the start.

Magrats, Cinammon's tree is a similar colour and style to ours, except that Archcat hardly uses it. The colour suits Cinammon's fur perfectly!

girlie, the informal German word for a tortie is Glückskatze, which means 'happiness cat' :)

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/12/2014 20:31

I don't like cats much (sorry!) but this is a pic a relative took of some wild cats/kittens at her house abroad. Even I think they're amazingly cute.

The top of the xmas tree has indeed been pushed sideways Cozietoesie The star hasn't hung quite the same since!

Many a morning we have come down to find several branches have been pulled off during the night Shock but you have to admire her tenacity really rather than be annoyed!

MrsPepperMintonCandyCane · 15/12/2014 22:29

After being on here I neeeeed another kitten or three to keep Mr Buster company.

Corygal · 15/12/2014 22:39

Fluffy - I'm really seeing that Bengal sweetness! The little lad looks so dear.

RubbishMantra · 16/12/2014 02:16

How could you not like cats Halloweenywooh? You must be a sandwich short of a picnic, surely? (There has been psychological research into this peculiar phenomenon of dislike towards cats)

cozietoesie · 16/12/2014 07:24

.....that Bengal sweetness.......??

Have you seen the size of those paws? I wouldn't say No to him if he was in a bad mood!

Iwouldratherbemuckingout · 16/12/2014 21:47

Such lovely puss cats!

Here's my lovely bunch of fluff balls, who I loves, lots.

Aww, the photo of FluffyCat in bed with his mum! And he's feasting on your DH in such a winsome manner!

Halloweenywooh · 17/12/2014 12:40

rubbishmantra, I'll give a cat a stroke and pet if I come across one on the street or if there's one in my garden; I'm not a cat kicking type cat disliker! But I couldn't keep one. They seem very two faced and disloyal to me. (I know that sounds strange because they're only animals Confused)
