kitten won't take no for an answer

Please help!

As much as I love him, he won't stop attacking furniture, my hands, my arms.

Whatever is worth a pounce, gets the pounce.

One tired kitten mother...

I know - sometimes it's a relief to talk to other people who have cats.

(If you or neighbours take a newspaper, by the way - and preferably one that isn't going to shed lots of ink - then opening up a double page, especially broadsheet size, and dropping it on him could be quite fun for him. They seem to think that hiding under a sheet of paper and then fighting their way out is quite hilarious.)

Exactly cozie, it helps to share the madness, I mean, love.

He seems to get bored quickly, is the crux of things. Never bored of grabbing mother's hand and arm though, it appears. I tried scruffing him, well, more about prising him off his bait. That made him more aggressive and annoyed.

Just keep on thinking tetchy 3 year old - who can also jump and has claws. You can do it - and luckily it shouldn't last for too much longer.

Its not too bad really, I'm beginning to lose sensation in my upper limbs Grin

He is exploring, I suppose, just with sharp implements.

I'm going to call him Mr Scissorhands. Or paws.

Yes, agree with tiring him out. Have you got a Da Bird or Flying Frenzy? My cat and kitten go mad for it, and do some pretty impressive acrobatics at the same time.

I have to shut the kitten out at mealtimes, otherwise we literally wouldn't get to eat anything. He's very greedy, and very determined. We had a BBQ a couple of weeks ago, and we noticed him sitting on a packet of raw sausages, contentedly munching on one.

He is frightened of feathers, would you believe.

I suspect he will be more of a mouser than birder. Poor mice.

Scissorclaws is only interested in his own food. He has a sniff at ours but no mouth for sausages yet Smile

Frightened of feathers, that's adorable! You can get different attachments for the Flying Frenzy though, like little mice, ribbons or even big spiders!

MKittens a little legend isn't he?.

RubbishMantra · 12/09/2014 15:53

He is indeed Fluffy - I've just been wrestling him for ownership of my cheese toasty. He is a kitten that will not take no for an answer!
