Pacing around and jumping onto places she wouldn't normally. Can they really sense a storm?

Mine generally don't like the wind, and it's windy already! They will beyond disgusted when it gets worse and complain bitterly.

Maybe also factor in the change of clock ? My cats have always been able to tell the time pretty well (to the nearest 10 minutes, say) and now everything, including meals, is an hour out. Seniorboy doesn't like it at all.

no mine are all slumped on the sofa but am in yorkshire so dont think we will get it that bad and yes cats can sense a change in the pressure in the air that you get before a storm

Yes, she's been tearing up and down and not wanting her tea. Might be unwillingness to pop out for a comfort break, although we've got the emergency litter tray set up knowing the weather might be disruptive to her usual routine.

I hope you're all going to be safe.

Best of luck to all cats and cat people.

Yes Lucy cat has been very odd all day, the dog had a funny turn in the garden earlier and I haven't seen fat cat all day..was hoping to get both cats in tonight, but not looking likely.

Yes

As well as the storm there have been a surprising number of fireworks going off here, too.
