The cats booster this year didn't include enteritis, just flu and felv.
He is known for being an "if I can see it I own it" cat and starts fights that draw blood on both sides so now I'm worried I've left him vulnerable to infection given to how so few owners stastictically vaccinate their pets?.
His previous 4 vaccinations all included it so perhaps it is like hep A vaccinations in humans and after so many boosters he is expected to already have lifetime immunity so he doesn't need that particular booster anymore?
It was a different vet today and she didn't seem very comfortable treating him because he growls a lot in the vets but doesn't actually lash out at humans (unlike the Persians who were evil to vets but looked all fluffy and sweet before they drew blood) and I felt a nuisance because I wanted his weight checked and his teeth checked plus a quick scan of chip to make sure it's still working.
We've gone to that vets for 28 years and I feel a bit down about today's visit.
