i have 11mth old, was full of flea dirt and huge buggers when i got him at 12wks, paid fortune for advocates and advantage stuff since. still finding fleas on him! i put advantage on him last week and i pick a flea off him today. SO damn annoying!

can any one recommened something that will work, fed up of wasting my money. ive seen bob martin flea tablets, any good? tried 2 flea collars...

i brought some diatomaceous earth (DE) that is a natural repellant for ridding worms and even tried powdering him with this which dries the fleas out. (apparently not! Hmm )

ideas/ tips will be great.

treat your carpets with defest or something like that in case the wee buggers have laid eggs there? my cat must be delicious to fleas, I've had to do this twice but it does the trick alongside advocate

it says it kills the eggs too tho? cant remember which one. ive tried both.

ive got lino/vinyl everywhere except stairs and upstairs landing, but will try. previous cat (yrs ago) gave me a 6mth flea infestation, very stressfull. two cans of bob marting flea bomb and day of washing EVERYTHING managed to get rid of them. it cost me so much trying out all the brands back when this was, so just trying to avoid it again.

thanks

Indorex.

Job done. And it will last for a year.

It doesn't stop the cat bringing more in, but those that are brought in don't last long. It's miracle stuff. And you can get it from online vet pharmacies for a lot cheaper than on amazon.

It kills the fleas and stops the eggs/larvae from developing.

We were overrun. One or two sprays of that and no more problems.

As for the cat - we find that the tablets are quite good (but make the cat leap around as the fleas get a bit feisty before dying) and that going over with a nit comb is good too as they comb out really easy.

Hoover everything. Although you have few carpets, go for the cracks in the flooring and the edges of rooms. That's where the eggs will nbe.

Oh - and I'd forget Bob Martins anything. Get some Indorex, (Vet or online.) That will do it.

We've used Frontline very successfully recently, as well as a spray that we got from Pets at Home. Vet friend generally advises against using anything Bob Martin...

Indorex doesn't stop them from finding breeding reservoirs outside.
And it doesn't kill them in the egg, so much vacuum regularly.
Indorex-regular vaccuuming-grooming-Advocat & Fipronil: we still get some fleas in warm weather.

Make sure you have the right dose for your size cat (>4kg need XL dose).
