2 years old and still has her crazy climbing curtains and chewing cables moments.

crazynanna · 24/07/2012 14:26

10 months and has a mad half hour every night where she runs up walls and scampers everywhere. Dead funny when she runs on the spot on the laminate like a cartoon character Grin

iliketea · 24/07/2012 14:35

My brother and sister pair still behave like mad kittens at 7 yo!!

MinkyWinky · 24/07/2012 15:41

One of mine is 3 and still chases his own tail... Pretty much every night Grin

Tiago · 24/07/2012 15:42

TheOriginalNutcracker · 24/07/2012 15:43

Mine was 1 at easter and is still as mad as ever.

stookiesackhouse · 24/07/2012 15:51

I have 2 of them, about the same age. My older cat just sleeps under our bed all day so it's nice to have little companions again. Not when they climb up my legs as I'm dishing out their food.

I had just got used to my youngest dc sleeping properly and now the kittens are bouncing all over us at 5:45am. If we try and kick them off they think it's a game and cling on for dear life. This morning dc's tipped all the play food/cooking toys everywhere and the kittens were joining in playing with the pots and pans.

stookiesackhouse · 24/07/2012 16:04

Haha natural, mine is up my legs all the time too!

I don't have DCs yet - I'm hoping the little one is good practise for the sleep deprivation :o

2 x 6 year olds here that still do rocket cats up and down the stairs about once a day

EclecticShock · 24/07/2012 21:15

Yes, I remember being very concerned about what inha let myself in for when I had to confine them to one room for damage limitation. They grew up to be beautiful and much more relaxed. Lost one in march and miss him madly :(

sashh · 25/07/2012 04:26

They grow out of it?

mathanxiety · 25/07/2012 04:58

Mine started to slow down when she was about 10/11. Up to then she was a terror. Still has her moments now, at 16.

stookiesackhouse · 25/07/2012 09:03

This morning mine was running from room to room like a bullet. I left her playing with her own reflection and a scrunched up bit of paper. Way more fun than all the toys I bought her apparently :o

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/07/2012 09:22

Scrunched up paper is the BEST toy, as are toilet rolls.

Papers cheaper.

DontCallMeBaby · 25/07/2012 09:32

Mine are three, still bonkers, just differently bonkers. One treats the house like a hotel (sigh, haven't seen him for about four days now, starting to fret) but is quite calm when in by himself. When both are in, they chase each other around and are generally annoying. The other attacks feet at 4am, can't do anything without chirruping about it, and got himself trapped on an external windowsill yesterday.

stookiesackhouse · 25/07/2012 09:37

I got mine on Saturday. I am tempted to go back and get her sister. I feel so guilty leaving her alone during the day :(

Your cats soundlike a lovely handful Baby :o

Ours all have their crazy moments and they range in age from 2 to 9 years!
