WE got a Maine Coon kitten last August and he is such a fluffy character. Just wondered if any one else had one?

Yep - big silver red boy here Smile and a silver girl Smile they are my very favourite animals
Gorgeous gorgeous creatures who are funny as hell Grin

I love our "wee" boy (he's already pretty big and only 8 months). He's a silver mackarel tabby and has the most amazing tail ever. He has great character - more like a dog than a cat! (we've also got a rescue cat otherwise I would want another one)

I have three, two girls and a boy - all siblings. And a hoover that protests at the amound of fur they leave on the carpets!!

My boy is very vocal, one girl is very timid and the other is a piggy and getting too fat.

Wouldn't swap them for anything and actually talking to the local Cat Rescue about adopting a little kitten to add to our family... Fingers crossed we'll pass the home check.

An old silver lady of 18 who is still wonderfully feisty and an enormous ginger and white bruiser who eats everything in his path. Also did have the original brown and white tabby but was PTS 2 years ago. I will be going to Maine Coon rescue as soon as silver puss inevitably passes on. Best animals ever. Though they do NAG....

My boy is definitely not timid! Unfortunately teh rescue cat is terrified of him and hisses / frowls when he comes close so can't get another one - although would really love to! Keep looking at the breeder's website at their kitten pictures..
I don't find that ours leaves too much hair about actually - the short hair is much worse. What colour are yours?

THey are definitely best cats ever! Can't believe how much fun they are. Ours has only recently been allowed out and loves running into the garden and chatting to teh birds. ds saw him eyeing up teh sheep in the adjoining field and is convinced he'll try and round them up soon!

3 Manky Coones in this home. A mum and her 2 boys - mum a big (knotted) ball of blue, a quite handsome mackerel tabby boy and a brute of a red head who is a pure Gent (let's our very timid moggie eat first when he swat her away from food bowl).

Love them all but my redhead is very very special. He tolerates cuddles from kids, kisses, and is just a pet. He eats all the time, though cannot cope with food shaped in an O!! Gets stuck on his teeth.

Casablancagirl · 03/02/2012 14:52

Funny you should mention sheep. Enormous bruiser had to be rescued from a field of young cattle. We had no idea what he thought he was doing but there he was, stalking though the midst of them.....

I have a huge 20 pound boy. he is a very handsome mackerel tabby extremely cuddly and dumb as a brick. Seriously! He is also the biggest wuss ever and all the neighbour's cats beat him up:(

He has FINALLY mastered..at the age of 9.. the art of scratching the door when he wants to come in! He is very greedy (he actually hit 22 pounds in weight at one stage which is a lot even tho he is a massive build) and will bed for food from everyone and anyone.. all the neighbours know him.

He is the best cat I have ever had and I would love another ! (But my non mC moggies would be very cross!)

elderberryspokes · 05/02/2012 20:31

We have two of them, although they are only wee things at nine months old. They are brothers: Bandit Bill, who is prone to gnawing chins at 4 o clock in the morning, and a wisp of white candy floss named Wilbur, who wanders from room to room emitting a thin, pathetic yodel if he wants attention (which is all the time)...

Have a brown cream elderly lady of 17 nearly 18. Don't know what we'll do when she's no longer with us as the local ones have horribly pointy ears. Btw Medusa, her dad weighed 2 stone so your boy has a little growing to do.

One of the vets loves her as her coat doesn't bother him - he's allergic to hay, horses and cats, but only found out once qualified.

MedusaIsHavingABadHairDay · 12/02/2012 22:56

Holy hell..2 stone?!?!?!?! Mind you my boy's sire was probably not far off.. as he of course had his dangly bits, whereas we cut dumb cat's off asap...:)
