Cat very dribbly - any idea why?

Not in any pain, apparently (I have poked his mouth and he was quite happy with me doing so, and he would have told me in no uncertain terms if he wasn't!), usual behaviour, tearing round the house like a mad thing with The Kitten, interspersed with long periods of sleep, but when he wakes up, there is a large pool of drool where he has been sitting.

He is two, and a Maine Coon.

normally a sign of bad teeth.

Could be a number of reasons but probably should see a vet if still like this tomorrow morning. Mouth ulcers, toxins, dental problems, throat problems...just some of the reasons.
